Yoga is like life. We may not get it all right from the start, but we improve with regular practice and discipline using the natural abilities intrinsic to us. Hatha Yoga helps you learn to lovingly observe yourself through slow controlled Pranayama (breathing practices) and movement which work to dissolve the stresses and frustrations of daily life. Through these practices we take these lessons from the yoga class with us as we navigate our world. There is no pressure, only an opportunity to gradually improve your practice and gently work your way deeper into the Asana (Yoga Pose). All Yoga comes from the same source, serving the very same purpose, just using different paths to reach the same destination. 

 
 
 
 

Baby I Love you

In our Baby, I love you class, it is all about you.

It is about using these 90 minutes to focus the attention on yourself. To utilise pranayama (breath control), asanas (yoga positions) and meditation (concentration and awareness training) to centre your body and mind in the present.

The course is suitable from beginners to intermediate level.
Our pace is slow and intensive. The focus is on conscious breathing, as well as the merging of breath and movement.
Hatha is the connection of yin and yang, female and male, light and dark and through this we find a balance which leads us closer to ourselves.

At LANI it is not about how flexible, fit or strong we, your instructors are. It is about how we can support you on your explorative journey to you and within you.

In the Yoga Sutras - the sacred yoga scriptures - it says that Yoga Asanas should be comfortable and stable. For this reason we place our focus on enjoying the process rather than focusing on fast goal orientated progress.

Everyone is unique. Every student should not have to adjust to the yoga, but the yoga to the student.

We know that we have done our job well when you leave our Yoga session content and clear minded.

Sunshine Belly Class

75 minutes prenatal yoga class

 
 

Sunshine Belly is an open pregnancy Yoga class for all mummies to be from the 14th week of pregnancy. No matter, if you are a starter or an experienced Yoga practitioner. We accompany you during this powerful period in your life, creating the miracle of life. In addition to pre-natal yoga exercises, our focus is on relieving the discomforts that may arise during pregnancy such as back pain and water retention. As with all LANI Yoga classes, we focus on Pranayama (conscious breathing) and the fusion of breath and movement. We resolve fears and blockages by promoting a smooth flow of Prana (energy) through the 7 main chakras (energy nodes) in the body. We practice awareness about the connection between body, mind and soul through relaxation and meditation exercises. We breathe, perceive, experience.

Sunshine Baby Class

75 minutes postnatal yoga class

 
 

Sunshine Baby is a postnatal yoga class for new mums both experienced in Yoga as well as beginners.

Our main focus is to support the body in its natural recovery processes. To help you find balance in the new physical, mental and emotional demands of motherhood and daily life.

In the Yoga Asanas (yoga poses) particular attention is directed to training the various pelvic floor layers whilst reconditioning appropriate muscle groups.

With conscious breathing, the practice of meditation and relaxation techniques, we find a space to rest and recharge.

We breathe, perceive, experience.

Private Yoga Session

Would you like to discover your own approach to Yoga? Make more efficient progress in your practice by getting an individual hands on adjustment? Go through the practice in your own pace and have the opportunity to get any question answered immediately?  Then private yoga sessions would be something for you. It doesn’t matter if you want to have a Hatha Yoga lesson or a pre- or postnatal yoga session. We adjust the session to your needs and wishes. A session can take place in your home, in your office, or in our home studio. The number of participants for one private session is limited to 3 people.

Every summer between June and September, we offer Yoga on one of the premiere rooftop locations overlooking Berlin. The beautiful beach bar Deck 5 is situated on the top floor of the Schönhauser Allee Shopping Arcade.

Savour the feeling of practicing Yoga in the open air.

The class is held on the sand in good weather or in the large weather protected pavilion if the conditions are less desirable.

The class is suited to beginner and intermediate levels. Our pace is slow and intensive. The focus is on conscious breathing, as well as the merging of breath and movement.
