Yoga is like life. We may not excel at everything from the start, but with regular practice and discipline, we can learn. Each of us has different abilities, and every body is unique. Therefore, some things come easily and naturally to us, while others may take more time, just as in yoga. In yoga, there's no obligation, only possibility. We're encouraged to be gentle with ourselves as we gradually delve deeper into the asanas (yoga poses). Let's explore our bodies and minds together.

Let's discover the diversity of yoga together – from Hatha Yoga to 5 Element Hatha Vinyasa Yang Yoga, to calming 5 Element Yin Yoga. Special offerings like Prenatal Yoga for expectant mothers and Postnatal Yoga after childbirth complement my services.

Currently, I offer private sessions exclusively in Berlin and on Lamu in Kenya, either online or in-person. I’m in Berlin between the 20th of April and the 1st of August. And on Lamu in Kenya until the 19th of April and between the 2nd of August and spring 2025. My yoga studio in Berlin is located in my practice near Ostkreuz (Türrschmidtstr. 10, 10317 Berlin), where I can accommodate up to 3 people. On Lamu, I teach yoga at Banana House and privately.

Baby, I Love You - 75-Minute Private Hatha Yoga Session

In my "Baby, I love you" class, it's all about you. It's about giving yourself 75 minutes of attention and pampering with pranayama (breath control and exercises), asanas (yoga positions), and meditation (concentration and awareness training) to center yourself

Hatha yoga is the connection of yin and yang, feminine and masculine, light and dark. By balancing both sides, we find our equilibrium and connect more deeply with ourselves. We work slowly and intensively, focusing on conscious breathing and the fusion of breath and movement.

At LANI, it's not about how flexible we are, but about how I can support you on your journey of self-discovery.

5 Elements Yoga - 75-Minute Private Hatha Vinyasa Yang Yoga Session

5 Elements Yang Yoga is a form of Hatha Vinyasa Yoga. I combine breath with movement, guiding you through the elements: earth, water, fire, air, and space. Depending on the element we focus on, movements range from static and long-held to flowing, fiery, energetic, and airy.

Yang Yoga embodies the strengthening, masculine aspect of the elements. Through 5 Elements Yoga, we balance and harmonize our energy, releasing energetic blockages and returning to our natural flow of being. Working along the TCM meridian lines, we nourish the body, mind, and soul with fresh energy.

Combining breath with movement, we embark on a journey through the elements: earth, water, fire, air, and space. Delving deep into each asana, we take our time to dwell, experience, and feel.

Sunshine Belly - 75-Minute Prenatal Yoga Private Session (Berlin, Lamu/Kenya, Online)

Sunshine Belly offers a nurturing prenatal yoga experience for expecting mothers starting from the 14th week of pregnancy. Whether you're a newcomer or an experienced yogi, I'm here to support you through this remarkable journey of creating life.

In addition to gentle prenatal yoga postures that strengthen and flex the body, we focus on alleviating common pregnancy discomforts such as back pain and swelling. Just like in all LANI Yoga classes, we emphasize conscious breathing (Pranayama) and the synergy between breath and movement.

Sunshine Baby - 75-Minute Postnatal Yoga/Yoga after Birth (Berlin, Lamu/Kenya, Online)

Sunshine Baby offers a nurturing postnatal yoga experience for new moms, whether experienced in yoga or new to the practice.

My aim is to support your body in its natural recovery process and provide a counterbalance to the physical, mental, and emotional demands of daily life as a new mother. During our yoga sessions, we focus on training the different layers of the pelvic floor and rebuilding the body's muscles appropriately.

Meditation Practice/Guided Meditation (Berlin, Lamu/Kenya, Online)

In our meditation practice, we don't strive to have no thoughts. Instead, we focus on anchoring our attention to one thing, as described in yoga as the one-pointed mind. This focus could be our conscious breathing, a visual image, a chakra, or a mantra that we repeat continuously. The key to controlling our mind is Pranayama, breath control. A calm breath leads to a calm mind. In our meditation practice, we don't push away arising thoughts; we simply let them be and practice acceptance. We bring our attention back to our one-pointed mind and the present moment repeatedly. True joy and bliss can only be experienced in the present moment, neither in the past nor in the future.
